How to use and abuse the license allotted to you, in Lust Stories.

Once again Anurag is Anurag. Jumping back to basics. What he knows. And what he knows is how to portray characters. He isn’t afraid of being repetitive and digging deep and feeding us, luring us by revealing information little by little. He just is in control of the entire thing, in his cinema. Zoya Akhtar’s segment was simply good. It starts, develops, ends. All swooped in with a big smile. Dibaker’s track was frustratingly pushing me back and not letting me in. As always, I didn’t get it. And Karan Johar’s was rightly kept at the end of the line for a satisfying finale. It was too much. And only Karan knows how to make “too much” look good on screen.
