How to be responsible of the privileged license handed over to you, in Ghost Stories.

Why is Anurag so Anurag? So brilliant. Few obvious metaphors popped in, in front of me. They were easy to grab so I did. But as in whole, it still remains a mystery to me. But I like his slow burn psychological approach to this horror genre. The reason why I would choose his story over Dibaker Banerjee’s segment is because his is topical. A mirror image of what is happening on a political level. Which is great. But it also seals it in a time capsule. While Anurag on the other hand talks about the basic human needs and emotions. Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar’s segments were disappointing. The reason being, both of their stories were fussed over about the answer and the new-ness of that answer. And very little were they focused on where it should actually go and how it should develop on screen.
