How to come up with an answer when everyone is jumping around to submit their own views, in Haraamkhor.

The writer and the director Shlok Sharma’s Haraamkhor is surely and solely his. Though you get a staggering performance from Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sharma’s attitude towards the anticipated or more precisely unexpected characters is comforting. For a film with such a heavy premise and dark world that it costs his complex character with, we get a hopeful, a better grim world by the end. And it is not justice that comes along marching with horns blowing from all directions. The solution that we get is not the question asked and maybe that’s why the reception towards the film could go awry. There is peace and willfulness in the acts of the characters and that is why the film is a complete satisfying experience. A character arc has never been so self-contained within themselves and so non-dependent to any other character.
